Phantom Siita "Sweet Pea" (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)
"Sweet Pea" is a song written by Miki Nakamura of Cö shu Nie for the ending theme of the second season of the TV anime "Hotel Inhumans". It depicts love that continues to linger in the heart even after loss, and is a poignant yet warm song that expresses the belief in the connection with someone far away, even while grappling with the unanswered question of "why".
<Comment from Director Kina Hiraki>
The flower meanings of sweet peas are said to be "Don't forget me" and "Separation."
The memories that I thought I had sealed away deep within my heart keep resurfacing, no matter how hard I try to resist, and continue to torment my soul.
The obsession and dependence that gnaws at oneself are indeed a poison that destroys oneself.
But in those moments when you simply drown in the overflowing sea of memories, suffocating from the moment, isn't there a secret, maddening joy residing within you, a joy that makes your body and soul melt away?
What I've depicted this time is an allegory of love and destruction.
This is a twisted love story between a heartless, mechanical doll and a dollmaker who infuses it with the poison of life.
Please enter this sweet hell, accompanied by the decadent and ethereal sounds of Cö shu Nie and Miku Nakamura, which sound like lost memories sweetly whispering in your ear.
